RECEIVERS & ENABLERS 

1. Vision& Understanding: 
   • Summary:
     It is the desire of God that believers hear His word, understand it, and then put the word into practice. This is the staircase of knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. The step before wisdom is understanding, which is comprehension or grasping that which we know. Thus, with all that we receive in life, it is imperative that we get understanding.
   • Discussion Questions: 
     • What are some practical ways that believers can gain understanding of God’s word?   
     • What are some practical ways that believers can develop a greater understanding of the vision of our ministry?  
2. TheVision Receiver & The Vision Enabler:
   
   • Summary:
     The biblical pattern for sharing vision follows the order of receivers and enablers. Receivers, generally one individual, are those whom God entrusts with the big picture of vision. Enablers are those whom God entrusts with gifts for actualizing the vision. For vision to be realized, both receivers and enablers must be connected by the same spirit and the same heart. 
     
   • Discussion Questions: 
     • How can we discover the gifts that we have been given to actualize our ministry’s vision?   
     • When it comes to the collective vision of our ministry, what are some of the things that we can do to ensure that we all share the same spirit and the same heart?  
3. Vision& Transgression: 
   
   • Summary:
     Transgression can be defined as the crossing of boundaries. Intentionally or unintentionally stepping over an established line. When serving a vision, transgression can occur by operating outside of one’s prescribed area of authority or expertise. Whenever there is transgression, the way forward becomes hard. Counterintuitively, everyone in their assigned place serving according to their expertise makes the journey much easier.  
     
   • Discussion Questions: 
     • When it comes to our vision, how can we ensure that all are where they’re supposed to be and doing what they have the expertise to do?   
     • When it comes to our vision, how do we correct transgression, restoring the right placement?
