VHG DISCUSSION: WORLD CHANGERS PART 3
SATANS SUBTILITIES

  1. The Subtility Of Poisoning:
    • Summary:
      • One of the enemy’s subtleties is the poisoning of the mind or heart of those who are members of the church. As the Scripture teaches, While men slept, an enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat.” Under normal circumstances, such as the departure of people or ministry criticism, the enemy can slowly shift our once-favourable posture toward a ministry to a position of disfavour and even disdain.
    • Discussion Questions:
      • Discuss ways that we can manage people-change and avoid disgruntling.
      • Share some wisdom on how to handle the hearing of negativity about others.
  2. The Subtility Of Stagnancy:
    • Summary:
      • It can be said that flowing waters don’t often breed disease; still waters can. Stagnancy or the refusal to change can be one of the most dangerous tools of the enemy. Seeing that we are called to grow, “from glory to glory,” individual growth is undoubtedly the most important thing to a believer.
    • Discussion Questions:
      • Share some biblical evidence that one can use to measure their overall growth. • Discuss some solutions if one finds themselves in a place of stagnancy?
  3. The Subtility Of Tradition:
    • Summary:
      • Defined as Human invented practices that are held too dearly,” traditions are not necessarily bad; when they replace God’s word or hold us hostage to change, they can be. If we are not careful, traditions can become subtle hindrances to God’s word and work in our lives.
    • Discussion Questions:
      • Discuss godly ways that we can live with and above traditions as believers.
      • How can we use wisdom to achieve commonality when it comes to traditions?

Prayer: Father, Open Our Spiritual Eyes To Every Device Of Our Enemy, In Jesus Name!
