NUMBERS 11:1-29
- Keys For the Journey:
- Key: Listening While Leading Are Keys to Visionary Leadership. [Num. 11:10].
- Key: We Underestimate the Satanic Subtility of Provocation, [1 Chron. 21:1].
- Solution: The Discipline to Never Complain, (Phil. 2:14-15).
- The Spirit of The Leader & Examples:
- The Spirit of The Leader Is Not the Holy Spirit; Rather It’s What God Has Spoken, Deposited, And Entrusted the Leader With, [Num. 11:17].
- For Believers the Holy Spirit Comes to Bear Witness with The Leaders’s Spirit Causing a Connection, [Amos 3:3].
- When The Holy Spirit, My Leader’s Spirit, & My Spirit Sync = Success, [2 Cor. 5:16]
- Abraham – God’s Friend & Father of Faith:
- God Spoke to Him In Ur, Not Terah, Not Sarai, Not Lot, [Acts 7:2-3].
- Mistake #1 Terah = Delay, [Gen. 11:31-32].
- Mistake #2 Lot = Stife, [Gen. 13:7].
- Mistake #3 Sarai = Ishmael–A Generational Thorn In The Side! [Gen. 16:2].
- God Spoke to Him in Canaan, Not Sarai, [Gen. 13:14-15].
- God Spoke to Him About Isaac’s Birth, Sarah Overhears, [Gen. 18:10].
- God Spoke to Him to Offer Isaac, No Record Of Sarah’s Awareness, [Gen. 22:1-2].
- Moses – God’s Servant & Shepherd of God’s Flock:
- God’s Providence In Preparing Mose, [Ex. 2:1-10].
- Tending Jethro’s Flock = Faithfulness, [Luke 16:12].
- God Spoke to Him at Mt Sinai, Not Zipporah, Not Jethro, [Ex. 3].
- God Spoke to Him in Egypt, Not Israel, [Ex. 6-14].
- God Spoke to Him Thru the Wilderness, Not Israel, [Ex. 14-17].
- Jesus – God’s Son & World Saviour:
- God Spoke to Him At 12, Not His Parents, [Luke 2:49].
- God Spoke to Him Re. His Disciples, [Luke 6:12-13].
- God Spoke to Him in Earthly Ministry, [John 5:19].
- Conclusion – To Follow a Visionary Leader Requires Trust In God And In The Leader, In That Order. Our First Thought Should Be, What Has God Told Him Or Shown Him. And Our Second Should Be, How Does What God Tells Or Shows Me Align With This, [Ps. 133:1-3].
