“And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children. In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee” (Isaiah 54:13-14)
Education is a fundamental key to life for it ensures productivity as well as prosperity to the learner. Now the instructor is as critical as the instruction or otherwise stated, the one doing the teaching is just as important as the lesson being taught. The Bible knows the truth all too well for it speaks of a moment in history when God would become the Teacher and the generation that sits to learn from Him would be the beneficiaries of such fruits as peace, freedom and righteousness. If our children are to become the best global citizens possible, God must be their first instructor. This is accomplished by allowing His word to be their primary source of learning and all subsequent forms of knowledge being held up to the standard of God’s eternal word.
Father, this week I boldly declare that we are living in the age of your instruction and our children are being taught from your word. I decree that they have great peace and they are free from all oppression, Amen!
